    I am incredibly anal about people not touching my displays. I&#039;m not even going to apologize. If you touch my display, I&#039;ll kill you. Displays are for viewing, not touching. Put down your damn sticky bun and go touch your own filthy display. Here&#039;s my mental image of everyone who has ever touched my screen

	<title>JavaScript Compression using Canvas and PNG-embedded data</title>
    <link>http://web2announcer.com/go/2571753</link>
    <author>unknown@DZone.com</author>
    <content:encoded>
    Jacob Sedelin continues the mad experiments. The well-known founder of Javascript-ports Mario and Wolfenstein 3D was come to mind by idea to keep a javascript-code in a PNG-picture, thereby using possibilities of a compression of this format for code compression. The author has laid out small library which by means of a method getImageData() object Canvas reads out bytecode from a picture and translates it in clear for function eval() the form.

    In light of the recent news about American Airline&#039;s maintenance problems, I sat down and talked with my Dad about aircraft maintenance. You see, my Dad was a maintenance Crew Chief for Pan American Airlines for nearly 30 years and I wanted to understand how things got so bad for American. My Dad explained the inner workings of Pan Am&#039;s maintenance program to me. The program dated back to late 1960&#039;s and early 1970&#039;s and was remarkably agile-sounding

	<title>If a programming language was a boat…</title>

    <author>unknown@DZone.com</author>

    This one is inspired by a recent forum post, that still leaves me in amazement.&amp;#xD;
&amp;#xD;
    Hi, Im wondering how i can create a boat in turing and if someone can post a example.&amp;#xD;
&amp;#xD;
This makes no sense, since one doesn’t normally make water vehicles in Turing, the programming language. Though this got me thinking — if a programming language was a boat, what would it be?

    The software development process is a big black box for basically everyone on the planet earth, except for a few, proud individuals who speak geek and wear silly tee-shirts. To everyone else who doesn’t read code or wear silly tee-shirts but work with people who do, the last bit of sanity they have is during the time they get to tell development what they want.
